A fire at a substation near London's Heathrow Airport is not suspicious. This was announced by the London Fire Service on March 22.

It is specified that the investigation will focus on electrical distribution systems.

"London Police have confirmed that the fire is not considered suspicious. The investigation of the fire service will focus on the electrical distribution equipment," the press service informed.

An explosion at a substation occurred earlier in the day, resulting in a power outage at Heathrow Airport. In this regard, the air harbor was closed until midnight on March 21. Firefighters continue to fight the fire.

In addition, it became known that the air harbor was seriously damaged after an explosion and a fire at an electrical substation. Airport staff and passengers faced darkened areas, limited service, and delays at check-in and baggage handling facilities.
