- Pashinyan stated that there is no need for guarantees from third parties under the agreement between Yerevan and Baku

Guarantees from third parties are not needed to conclude a peace agreement between Yerevan and Baku. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this in an interview with Public Television on March 21.
He noted that Armenia lost its unconditional trust in the institution of guarantors after the clash on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in September 2022.
"There is one guarantor of Armenia's security — Armenia itself, which is able to live in the region among its neighbors without external help, without external interference," Pashinyan concluded.
On March 13, Azerbaijan and Armenia completed negotiations on agreeing on the text of a peace treaty. According to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Yerevan has accepted proposals regarding the last two uncoordinated points.
On March 14, in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Pashinyan announced the approval of a draft peace agreement with Azerbaijan.
