In the city of Artyom in Primorsky Krai, an eight-year-old boy was injured as a result of an SUV collision. This is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region in its Telegram channel.

The hit-and-run occurred on Friday, March 21, on Kirova Street in the area of house No. 78. According to police, the 57-year-old driver of a Toyota Land Cruiser hit an eight-year-old boy who was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing, but at a forbidding traffic light.

As a result of the accident, the child was injured. According to IA PrimaMedia, the boy was prescribed outpatient treatment.

Traffic police officers are conducting a check on the incident.
