The telephone conversation between US President Donald Trump and the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, on March 19 was initiated by the Ukrainian side. This was announced by the White House Special Envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, in an interview with ABC News.

"President Trump is very generous. Zelensky asked for a call, we contacted the president [Trump], the president said, "Okay," he said.

He noted that the conversation between the heads of the United States and Ukraine was a normal discussion in the spirit of business negotiations. According to him, Zelensky and Trump did not touch on really controversial topics during the dialogue.

According to Trump, his talks with Zelensky lasted about an hour, and most of them were devoted to discussing the conversation between the US president and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Trump called the conversation with Zelensky very good.
