Trump announced the development of the sixth-generation F-47 fighter

An experimental version of the latest F-47 fighter has been secretly tested in the United States for five years. This was announced on March 21 by the American President Donald Trump.
"I am pleased to announce that, on my instructions, the Air Force (Air Force. — Ed.) The United States is working on the world's first sixth-generation fighter...> Nothing in the world compares to it even close, and it will be known as the F-47," he said during a joint speech with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth at the White House.
Trump stressed that no one had ever seen anything like this in terms of fighter characteristics. According to him, "there was nothing even close" from speed to maneuverability, as well as performance to payload. He clarified that the aircraft had been under development for a long time.
The US president noted that after fierce competition between several of the country's leading aerospace companies, the Air Force is going to award Boeing a contract for a next-generation air dominance platform.
According to Trump, Washington's allies are already interested in purchasing F-47s and are likely to receive "stripped-down versions" of them.
On February 14, Trump announced that the United States intends to increase military sales by billions of dollars through the supply of F-35 fighter jets to India. According to him, this possibility is due to the fact that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a reduction in duties that limited American access to the Indian market.
