VK Video viewers will be able to watch anime from the catalog of the Chinese video hosting service BiliBili. Russian viewers will have access to 119 titles and 2,000 pieces of anime content, including 18 world premieres. The new series will be released simultaneously with worldwide releases, and all materials will be available on the platform for four years.

The first premieres on the VK Video platform will take place before the end of March. Viewers will see "B.King", "Action Monster Big Movie", "Losing Money to Be a Tycoon", "The All-devouring Whale: Homecoming" in professional dubbing. Anime culture has traditionally focused on Japanese content, but trends in the global market are changing. According to the platform's analysts, the monthly audience of users watching Chinese, Korean and Japanese anime exceeded 6 million people in February 2025. The daily consumption time of such content has increased 13 times in 2 years.

Nikolay Duksin, Vice President of Music and Video Services at VK:

"We are developing the direction of Asian content, as we see the ever-growing interest of the audience of different ages. China is becoming a global anime hub, and we are offering users in-demand titles at the same time as the world premiere. Chinese anime attracts the widest possible audience of viewers — companies gain access to an audience of millions who are actively interested in Asian culture, gaming and technological innovations. We strive to provide users with unique, high-quality and diverse content, and partnering with leading Chinese manufacturers will allow us to take this standard to a new level."
