- The head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration announced the mobilization of disabled people in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The head of the military-civil administration (CAA) of the Kharkiv region, Vitaly Ganchev, said that military commissars from the Ukrainian territorial recruitment centers (TCCs) even call for disabled people in more remote villages, but they are afraid to enter settlements located near the front line.
In conversation with aif.ru On Friday, March 21, Ganchev noted that in some of the liberated territories, local people say that they do not want and are afraid to come to such frontline places as, for example, Dvurechnaya.
"But from neighboring villages that are further from the front, they come and generally do not stand on ceremony with the local population. Even the disabled are being mobilized," Ganchev said.
The CAA of the Kharkiv region previously stated that about 60 settlements had been liberated in 2024. Administrative control was established in 34 of them.
On March 20, Ganchev reported that the Russian military was advancing in the Kupyansk direction and was increasingly squeezing the semicircle around the enemy in the Kharkiv region, RT writes. The Ukrainian command is trying to strengthen the grouping in order to prevent the advance and encirclement of troops, notes 360.ru . Ganchev stressed that Kupyansk remains one of the most intense areas of the combat zone, the website clarifies. kp.ru .
On the same day, Ganchev, in an interview with Izvestia, said that the Russian military was providing residents of the Kharkiv region with all the necessary assistance to provide people with the most necessary things. In particular, there is no centralized heat supply in the territory, and both firewood and coal are provided to people for the heating period.
On March 16, Ganchev noted that the Russian Armed Forces were expanding the zone of liberated territory on the right bank of the Oskol River and advancing towards Kupyansk. A group of five Ukrainian border guards voluntarily surrendered to the military of the Russian group Zapad on March 14, writes Regnum news agency.
