Since March 12, 564 civilians have been evacuated from the liberated territories of the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region. This was announced on March 21 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"Since March 12, 564 people have been evacuated from the Sudzhansky district by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and volunteers," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that civilians are promptly transported to temporary accommodation facilities. There they receive the necessary assistance, including the restoration of documents. Psychologists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and specialists from other departments are working with the victims in safe areas.

The city of Sudzha was under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) for 218 days and was liberated on March 12. Currently, the city continues to suffer from attacks by Ukrainian UAVs.

The fighters of the combined artillery group "Press" of the Akhmat special forces are actively helping to evacuate the residents of Sudzha. They help citizens evacuate to safe areas. The tasks of the special forces also include the search for unexploded downed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
