- A member of the Serbian parliament said about the influence of Western intelligence services on the protests

Mass demonstrations in Serbia cannot take place without the participation of Western intelligence agencies. This was stated on March 21 in an interview with Izvestia by Dragan Stanojevic, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Diaspora and Serbs in the region.
According to him, every university in Serbia creates some kind of student plenums, the composition of which is unknown.
"According to some of my information, there are mostly professors, deans, professors, lecturers who manage this process, who are probably very strongly connected with Western services," Stanoevich noted.
The politician stressed that participating in these meetings, most students often do not understand that someone is manipulating them.
"They come out on their own [to protest], and that's really the case. But who makes the decision, where to go, how, what, what plans, and so on. <...> Here lies the danger that Western services are working with these professors and rectors, and they coordinate these processes through them," Stanoevich pointed out.
The demonstrations began in Belgrade in the early morning of March 15. The protest action of the students involved the blocking of key points in the Serbian capital. According to the latest information from President Aleksandar Vucic, 56 people were injured during the protests.
The reason for the start of anti-government rallies in November 2024 was the death of 16 people as a result of the collapse of the canopy of the railway station in Novi Sad.
