During the winter period, the production of electrical and optical equipment became the highest-paying area in the industry. This is stated in the results of a study of the Avito Rabota platform, which were reviewed by Izvestia on March 24.

In this area, the average salary offered for new employees reached 120,923 rubles per month, and salary offers increased by 84% per year. At the same time, since the winter of 2023-2024, the industry has been actively looking for winders (+252%), electricians (+49%) and optometrists (+13%).

In addition, the production of industrial equipment and machine tools is also among the leaders in terms of the salaries offered. In the winter of this year, employers offered applicants an average of 115,131 rubles per month, which is 61% more than a year earlier. Compared to the winter of 2023-2024, turners (+47%), milling operators (+46%) and adjusters (+36%) became the most in demand in the industry.

Transport engineering was also included in the top 3 areas with the highest salary offers. In this sector, the average salary indicated in vacancies increased by 25% and reached 96,176 rubles per month. Rolling machines (+206%), polishers (+189%) and grinders (+146%) have become more frequently required in this area.

"The growth of salary offers in industry, especially in high-tech sectors such as the production of electronic and optical equipment, is due to several key factors. Firstly, there is a shortage of qualified personnel associated with the demographic pit of the 90s. Secondly, the active development of import substitution and automation requires specialists with specialized skills, which increases their value in the labor market," explained Andrey Kucherenkov, Director of the Working and Linear Professions category at Avito Jobs.

According to him, the implementation of large infrastructure and industrial projects across Russia creates additional demand for skilled workers.

Earlier, on March 6, it was reported that for the majority of Russians surveyed (75%), job satisfaction is a key indicator of a successful career. This is stated in the results of the study of the service "Work.ru". In addition, high earnings (71%) and professionalism (64%) are considered important.
