The Russian government will allocate 750 million rubles for the Intervision contest

The Russian government will allocate 750 million rubles to the Traditions of Art Foundation for the preparation and holding of the Intervidenie International Music Competition in 2025. The document appeared on March 20 on the portal of the official publication of legal acts.
The funds will be used to finance the foundation's activities in order to organize the competition, which will be held in Moscow and the Moscow region.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to monitor the effective use of allocated funds and submit a report on expenditures by February 1, 2026.
On February 25, the Russian government approved the composition of the organizing committee of the Intervision contest. The organizing committee includes Olga Lyubimova, Minister of Culture of Russia, Mikhail Shvydkoi, Special Representative of the Head of State for International Cultural Cooperation, Konstantin Ernst, CEO of Channel One JSC, and others.
On February 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on holding the Intervidenie International music competition in 2025 in Moscow and the Moscow Region.
