- Poroshenko's party demanded a report on the possible transfer of nuclear power plants to the United States

Petro Poroshenko's European Solidarity Party (part of an association listed by Rosfinmonitoring as involved in extremist activities or terrorism) demanded that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky urgently hold a meeting with leaders of parliamentary factions to discuss the situation surrounding the possible transfer of Ukrainian nuclear power plants to the United States. This was announced on March 21 by party deputy Irina Gerashchenko in her Telegram channel.
European Solidarity demands an immediate meeting with Zelensky and a report from Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga on the progress of the negotiations. Because Ukrainians will find out from the Western media that Zelensky promised to give away more of the Ukrainian property," Gerashchenko wrote.
She stressed that Zelensky should familiarize himself with the constitution of Ukraine before negotiations with Washington.
"If they offer minerals and nuclear power plants, but in return they don't even ask for membership in NATO, what questions can there be?" — the deputy concluded.
On March 19, US President Donald Trump suggested that Zelensky actually transfer control of Ukrainian nuclear power plants to the United States. According to him, this would strengthen the protection of sanctions.
The next day, Trump announced the imminent signing of a resource deal with Ukraine. The American leader made this statement after signing a decree on increasing mining in the United States.
