Today, March 22, marks one year since the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region. This day became one of the most terrible and tragic in the modern history of Russia and ended the lives of many people. On the anniversary of the terrorist attack, Izvestia prepared funeral postcards in memory of the victims, as well as prayers for the repose.

March 22 — the first anniversary of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall

Exactly one year ago, on March 22, a terrible event shocked the whole of Russia — an attack was carried out on the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region. On that day, four armed terrorists broke into the building and opened fire on anyone who got in their way, and then set fire to the auditorium.

That fateful day became one of the bloodiest in the history of Russia — 145 people died and more than 500 were injured.

The whole country rushed to help: people were helped to get out of the building, taken away from the scene, and the next day huge queues of caring people lined up at blood transfusion points.

In the case of the terrorist attack, 27 defendants were involved as defendants. There were four main perpetrators of the terrorist attack, and after the incident they planned to cross the border between Russia and Ukraine, but were caught.

Memorable events in Moscow and the regions of Russia: the program of events

On Saturday, March 22, exactly one year after the tragic events, the opening ceremony of the memorial in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack will take place. The opening time is 12:00 Moscow time.
The memorial itself will be installed in front of the concert hall and the second pavilion of Crocus Expo.

Representatives of government authorities and public organizations will take part in the event.

In addition, memorial services for the victims of the terrorist attack will be held in all churches of the Krasnogorsk deanery, they are scheduled for 9:00 Moscow time.

How to honor the memory of the dead: prayer for the repose of souls

Those who wish can attend memorial services to be held in the churches of the Krasnogorsk deanery and place candles for the dead. In addition, you can go to any church in Russia and put candles for the repose.
