At the meeting of the Russian and US delegations scheduled for March 24 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Moscow will be represented by negotiators with extensive experience. This was announced on March 21 at a briefing by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

On March 20, Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov said that the Russian delegation to the consultations of expert groups with the United States would be led by Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Grigory Karasin and Adviser to the head of the Federal Security Service (FSB) Sergey Beseda.

"According to our representatives, who will be directly involved in the expert working negotiations in Riyadh on Monday, these are the most experienced negotiators with extensive experience in such work," Peskov said.

He noted that the representatives at the talks were chosen by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
