Moscow Fashion Week summed up the results

The fourth Moscow Fashion Week took place in the capital. It took place from March 13 to March 18 in the Arena. In total, more than a thousand applications were submitted from 111 Russian cities. The collections were presented by 186 brands from 27 regions of Russia, as well as 9 countries: Armenia, India, Indonesia, China, Tajikistan, Turkey, South Africa and other countries.

"More than 65,000 people attended the Fourth Moscow Fashion Week. Every season we see how the interest in the event increases. There is also an increase in the capital's participants, 108 Moscow brands were represented this time," said Alexei Fursin, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Moscow Department of Culture.

There were 90 shows at Moscow Fashion Week: 81 shows by designers from Russia and 9 shows by foreign designers, including 6 collective shows, where 139 students and graduates from 5 domestic universities presented more than 200 images. About 2,300 models participated in the event.

At the Moscow Fashion Week market, Muscovites and guests of the capital got acquainted with the collections of designers and purchased clothes, shoes and accessories from 101 designer brands from Moscow and other Russian cities. Muscovites and guests of the capital have registered for the market more than 14.5 thousand times. For the first time, the collective stand of the "Made in Moscow" project was presented at the market, where 11 metropolitan designers presented their collections. For many participants of the project, this was the first experience of participating in the event. The entrepreneurs noted that the collective stand attracted additional attention to their products, and the total revenue of the stand participants amounted to over two million rubles. The Moscow bar was open on the ground floor for guests of fashion shows, where the capital's treats and drinks from the participating brands of the Made in Moscow project were presented.

Russian Russian Fashion Week featured a daily lecture hall at the Manege, where 28 lectures were held with the participation of 46 speakers. Experts discussed the prospects of Russian gloss over Western, why global brands use Russian cultural heritage, how influencers shape trends, and why traditional Russian headdresses are so attractive to luxury brands. Each lecture was interactive, the audience could ask questions and receive professional advice from experts. Online broadcasts of the lecture hall sessions have received almost 3 million views. Leading industry experts, well-known designers, stylists, representatives of the OGV, TV presenters, editors of glossy publications, bloggers, representatives of the Made in Moscow project and the Moscow Creative Industries Agency spoke about current trends for fashion designers.

The Moscow 24 TV channel's on-site studio was open all day at Moscow Fashion Week with daily live broadcasts, reports and interviews. The guests of the interview were Alexey Anatolyevich Fursin, Minister of the Moscow Government and head of the Department of Culture, Aysel Trudel, trustee of the Fashion Foundation, Ksenia Sobchak, Yana Rudkovskaya, Alexander Rogov, Evgeny Plushenko, Dmitry Loginov, designer, Yulia Peresild, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Igor Andreev, designer, Maria Minogarova, blogger, model and YouTube presenter-the show "The Day before Yesterday's news", Vladislav Lisovets, stylist, foreign designers participating in Moscow Fashion Week from China, Turkey and many others.

Every day at Moscow Fashion Week, one could meet journalists from leading Russian and foreign glossy and news publications, stylists, buyers, actors, athletes, influencers and many others.

There was also a professional showroom at Moscow Fashion Week, where 45 Russian designers met with leading Russian retailers and wholesalers and negotiated future cooperation. The event was attended by buyers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Stavropol, Novosibirsk and other cities.

In addition, the fourth edition of the World Fashion Shorts fashion short film festival took place. It brought together directors not only from Russia, but also from other countries, including Argentina, Mexico, the Philippines and South Africa. A total of 58 films were shown on the screen.
