Memorial plaque to Hero of the Russian Federation Andrey Voloskov to be installed in Moscow

A memorial plaque to the Hero of the Russian Federation Andrey Alekseevich Voloskov will be installed in Moscow. This was stated by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The plaque will appear on the wall of the house where the Guard lieutenant lived. The building is located on Polina Osipenko Street.

Andrey Voloskov graduated from the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School. Then he participated in a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. For his courage and bravery, he was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Russian Federation.

In February, it was reported that memorial plaques to three Heroes of the Russian Federation would be installed on Lilac Boulevard, Sculptor Mukhina Street and Popov Passage. "We will perpetuate the memory of the participants in the special military operation, Lieutenant General Roman Vladimirovich Kutuzov, Second Lieutenant Ivan Valeryevich Podyablonsky and Guard Lieutenant Ivan Sergeevich Shamsheev," Sobyanin said.
