In Lyubertsy, Moscow region, police detained six people suspected of illegally organizing and conducting gambling. This was announced on March 21 in the main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region.

During the operational search activities, law enforcement officers stopped the activities of the club, which was located in the basement of a shopping pavilion in Malakhovka.

"Searches have been conducted in the premises and places of residence of the detainees. 41 pieces of computer equipment, telephones, bank cards, cash and other items of evidentiary value were seized," the Telegram channel says.

A criminal case has been opened against the suspects. The Lyubertsy City Court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for one suspect, house arrest for two, and a ban on certain actions for three more.

The identification of the persons involved continues.

Earlier, on February 10, in Blagoveshchensk, the police discovered and eliminated the work of an illegal casino, which operated from September 2024 to January 2025. As a result of the search, equipment and cash worth about 1.5 million rubles were seized.
