The prosecutor's office in Primorye, after a major fire that destroyed houses in the village of Avangard, asks to open a criminal case on the negligence of those responsible for the administration of the Partizansk municipal district. This was reported by the law enforcement agency on March 21.
"The supervisory authority has sent the verification materials to the preliminary investigation body to resolve the issue of initiating a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Negligence")," the Telegram channel says.
According to the results of the inspection, it turned out that the staff of the Partizansk administration improperly performed their duties to clean the territory of dry vegetation and debris. As a result, the fire destroyed at least one residential building, three non-residential premises and three outbuildings. In addition, at least two operated buildings were damaged.
The Prosecutor's Office noted that the results of the consideration of the petition for the initiation of criminal proceedings are under control.
On March 20, a large-scale fire occurred in Primorye: dry vegetation caught fire on an area of 3 thousand square meters. m. An apartment building was destroyed by fire, and two more country houses were damaged. The fire was later extinguished.
