A 74-year-old pensioner died as a result of a fire in Blagoveshchensk. This was reported on March 21 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

It is established that the sofa caught fire in the house. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire area was 3 square meters. m. Rescue and emergency service personnel found a man's body on the same sofa.

"The most likely cause of the fire is carelessness while smoking," the Telegram channel reported.

An investigative and operational group is working at the scene of the incident.

The agency added that for safety reasons it is necessary to install a fire detector in the house, not to leave the phone on charge, not to plug many appliances into one outlet and not to smoke in bed.
