In the Ashinsky district of the Chelyabinsk region, where the water level on the Sima River has risen, the water has left all residential buildings. This was announced on Friday, March 21, by the Department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"In Asha, 21 private residential buildings, 81 garden houses and 121 household plots have been cleared of water over the past 24 hours. 12 garden houses and 13 household plots remain flooded. There are no flooded residential buildings," the agency wrote in its Telegram channel.

It is specified that 12 people were accommodated in temporary accommodation facilities, there are no children among them.

Special services provided assistance to 45 residents of the flooded area by pumping water. Fire pumping stations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation were involved.

In total, 164 special services personnel and 41 pieces of equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the floods.

The regional Ministry of Emergency Situations said that compensation for partial or complete loss of property to Russians affected by the emergency will be paid.

A rise in the water level on the Sim River in the Ashinsky district was reported on March 18. The regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a working group with unmanned aerial vehicles and forces of a specialized fire and rescue unit went to the scene. The flooded areas are located on Matrosova, Embankment, Oktyabrskaya and Zarechnaya streets. Additional devices have been installed to monitor the situation.
