US President Donald Trump wants to make Crimea an international resort in cooperation with the Russian leadership. This was announced on March 20 by American journalist Seymour Hersh.

"The official told me that Trump's main ambition was to lift the current economic sanctions on Russia and form a partnership with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin aimed at turning Crimea into a major international resort," he wrote on the Substack platform.

According to Hersh, Donbass can also become part of this plan.
