Soldiers of the Vostok group of forces evacuated a group of civilians to the DPR

Fighters of the Vostok group of forces evacuated a group of residents of the liberated village of Constantinople in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on March 21 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"People had to hide for weeks in the basements of destroyed houses, without communication, light, water and food. Five men and two women, exhausted by fear and hunger, decided to leave the shelter and walk to the village of Ulakli," the ministry said.
Along the way, they were accompanied by Russian army soldiers, including a drone operator who warned them from the air about the dangers that could lie in wait on the ground.
"I didn't leave the basement for a long time, it was very scary. [The Ukrainian Armed Forces] level everything, shoot randomly, destroy houses. There were no supplies, no lights, and constant arrivals. We took a chance — it was even scarier to stay there," said one of the rescued local residents.
A day earlier, soldiers of the Akhmat special forces of the Russian Defense Ministry showed how they helped the residents of Sudzha to evacuate. In particular, in the video, Akhmat fighters are helping to take out a man who is unable to stand up. In addition, one of the special forces found two women living in the basement in the city — the military offered them any help and promised to pick them up the next day. Subsequently, citizens are evacuated to quiet areas of the Kursk region, for example, to the village of Bolshoe Soldatskoye.
