In the center of Prague, more than 2 thousand people were evacuated after reports of mining

In Prague, the award ceremony of the One World Film Festival, held at the Lucerne Palace, was interrupted due to an anonymous report about a bomb. This was reported on March 20 by the Idnes portal with reference to eyewitnesses.

"On Thursday evening, a mass evacuation took place in Prague due to reports of bomb explosions in the Lucerne area and at the Prague-Smichov railway station. About 2,000 people were forced to leave the palace in the center of the metropolis. Tram traffic in the area was interrupted," the article says.

Subsequently, the police and explosive device disposal specialists did not find any signs of bomb laying in any of the places mentioned in the anonymous message.

It is specified that in addition to the One World awards ceremony, the building hosted a graduation ball and a concert by singer Katerina Maria Tikhy. Visitors to these events were also forced to leave the palace in a hurry.

"In the evening, Prague police officers investigated two reports of bombs being planted in Lucerne. Pyrotechnic checks were carried out in both places, the results of which turned out to be negative, <...> and now we will be looking for an unknown informant," the Czech police said.

Representatives of the department also clarified that the total number of evacuees in the city center may be more than 3 thousand people.

On January 26, blogger Ivan Zolo's concert was canceled in Sochi due to false reports of mining. According to the press service of the main directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory, police teams were sent to the scene to establish the details of the incident, and all visitors were evacuated. The audience expressed dissatisfaction with the cancellation of the concert, about 100 people gathered on the street.
