Soldiers of the Akhmat special forces of the Russian Defense Ministry showed how they helped the residents of Sudzha to evacuate

Soldiers of the combined artillery group "Press" of the Akhmat special forces are actively assisting residents of the liberated Sudzha in the Kursk region in evacuating the city. Footage of the work of the special forces appeared at the disposal of Izvestia on March 20.

In particular, in the video, Akhmat fighters are helping to take out a man who is unable to stand up. In addition, one of the special forces found two women living in the basement in the city — the military offered them any help and promised to pick them up the next day.

Subsequently, citizens are evacuated to quiet areas of the Kursk region, for example, to the village of Bolshoe Soldatskoye.

In addition, the tasks of the special forces in the city include the search for unexploded downed drones.

Earlier that day, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that 544 people had been evacuated from the Sudzha district of the Kursk Region since the liberation of Sudzha. There are currently over 6,000 people in 67 temporary accommodation facilities in the region. Many citizens are taken away by relatives with whom they have not had contact for a long time.
