A new electric car was presented to Falkov at Moscow Polytechnic University

The Moscow Polytechnic University demonstrated a domestic electric car to Valery Falkov, head of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. This was announced by the government's press service on Thursday, March 20.
"Valery Falkov was presented with a pre-production model of a domestic electric car at the Moscow Polytechnic University. The project has reached the stage of production of a pre—production batch," the press service said in a Telegram post.
The Avtotor Holding company also worked on the electric vehicle of the L7 category at the engineering school of electric transport. So, the engineers optimized the suspension, steering, developed load-bearing elements, a central control unit and a CAN bus.
It clarifies that modern IT technologies, including 3D modeling, virtual reality testing and digital twins, have allowed minimizing the number of expensive in-kind tests and speeding up the development process of an electric vehicle.
In addition, Falkov was presented with the developments of the Avia-Concept investment company. The company employs undergraduates from the Polytechnic University.
On the eve of March 17, Alexander Sorokin, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Avtotor Holding, said that the L7 electric car developed in Russia had reached the stage of manufacturing a pre-production batch. The compact electric vehicle is designed for use in urban environments and is aimed at students, young families, urban services, carsharing and delivery services.
