In Kuban, a mother tried to kill her two-month-old son with a knife

In the city of Kurganinsk, Krasnodar Territory, a 32-year-old woman stabbed her two-month-old son, trying to kill him. This was reported on March 20 in the press service of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.
"According to investigators, this afternoon the defendant inflicted multiple stab wounds to her two-month-old son in the abdomen. The defendant was unable to complete her criminal intent aimed at killing her son, because her actions were stopped by her father," the department said.
The injured child is currently under medical supervision at the hospital. He is receiving medical care.
The suspect, in turn, was taken to the investigator. Her motives are not reported.
"The Ust-Labinsk interdistrict investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Krasnodar Territory has opened a criminal case against a suspect in the attempted murder of her son (Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the Investigative Committee said.
On March 14, a 36-year-old woman was taken into custody in Nizhny Tagil for abandoning her newborn son on a bench in the cold. Earlier, on March 4, a child was found near one of the entrances in Nizhny Tagil, and he was taken to the hospital. A criminal case was opened on this fact. Later, on March 8, the woman was found by DNA, detained and interrogated. She explained that she had given birth to a baby and decided to get rid of him.
