Rosneft reports on hydrocarbon production

Last year, Rosneft's production of liquid hydrocarbons amounted to 184 million tons (3.7 million barrels per day). This is evidenced by the results of the company's report, prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Compared to 2023, production decreased slightly, primarily due to the decisions of the Russian government to limit oil production under the OPEC+ agreement, the company explained.

Gas production in 2024 amounted to 87.5 billion cubic meters (1.5 million barrels of oil equivalent per day). Rosneft has retained the status of the largest independent gas producer in the Russian Federation. More than a third of the company's gas production is provided by new projects in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, introduced in 2022," the NK said.

As a result, hydrocarbon production amounted to 255.9 million tons of oil equivalent (5.2 million barrels of oil equivalent/day).

Production drilling has exceeded 12 million meters, and over 3,000 new wells have been commissioned, 72% of them horizontal. Onshore, Rosneft performed 1.2 thousand linear kilometers of 2D seismic work and 5.3 thousand square kilometers of 3D seismic work. With a success rate of 89%, 62 exploration wells were completed. As a result, the company discovered seven fields and 97 new hydrocarbon deposits with reserves of 0.2 billion tons of oil equivalent in the AB1C1+B2C2 categories. As a result, Rosneft's hydrocarbon reserves, according to the Russian classification, amounted to 21.5 billion tons of oil equivalent at the end of the year.

The volume of oil refining in Russia in 2024 amounted to 82.6 million tons. "Work has been carried out to maintain a high degree of reliability of oil refining assets and the transition to domestic technologies has been carried out. In particular, Rosneft provides the technological installations of its refineries with its own catalysts, which are necessary for the production of high—quality motor fuels," the company noted.

In 2024, more than 2 thousand tons of catalysts for hydrotreating diesel fuel and gasoline fractions, as well as protective layer catalysts, were produced. Rosneft's enterprises also produced 138 tons of gasoline reforming catalysts and 390 tons of catalysts for the production of hydrogen, petrochemicals and adsorbents. 1.6 thousand tons of coked catalysts for hydrotreating diesel fuel were regenerated.

During the year, the company sold 43.6 million tons of petroleum products on the domestic market, including 13.1 million tons of gasoline and 18.1 million tons of diesel fuel.
