The Russian delegation at the talks with the United States, which will be held on March 24 in Riyadh, will not include high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This was announced on March 20 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"There will be no Foreign Ministry representatives in the Russian delegation to Saudi Arabia," she told TASS.

Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov announced the talks between Russia and the United States earlier in the day. He specified that the Russian expert group will be headed by Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, and Sergey Beseda, adviser to the head of the Federal Security Service (FSB).
