Used cars popular among Russians are named


Russians most often bought cars with Lada brand mileage last winter, follows from the data of the SberAuto service, which was reviewed by Izvestia on March 21. They accounted for 13% of all purchases. They are followed by Kia (9%) and Toyota (7%).
The top five most popular brands also included Hyundai (6%) and Volkswagen (5%).
The most popular models were: Lada Granta (the median purchase price of which was 800 thousand rubles), Lada Vesta (1.1 million rubles), Kia Rio (910 thousand rubles), Hyundai Solaris (900 thousand rubles), Ford Focus (720 thousand rubles).
Experts noted that buyers prefer used cars: they accounted for 92% of all transactions. More than half of the cars sold (53%) were under the age of 10, and the share of cars under the age of five was 27%. The average cost of buying a used car this winter reached 1.3 million rubles, new cars — 2.1 million rubles.
Earlier, on February 27, Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, said that Russia had recorded a historical record for sales of new pickups in a year. By the end of last year, 29.2 thousand such vehicles were sold in the country, with an annual increase of 65%.
