The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out the contradiction between the supply of US weapons to Kiev and intentions for peace.

Arms supplies to the Ukrainian side by the United States do not correspond to Washington's declared intentions to achieve peace. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said this at a briefing on March 20, answering a question from Izvestia.

"Arms supplies to the Kiev regime run counter to the declared intentions to achieve peace and move everything towards a political and diplomatic settlement. Those who want peace will naturally advocate for an end to militarization," Zakharova said.
