Zakharova praised the film "Red Silk" for its vivid historicity.

The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, at a briefing on March 20, praised the Russian-Chinese film "Red Silk" for its vivid historicity, speaking about the sale of the Chinese-Eastern Railway (CER).
According to Zakharova, the CER was the main military logistics link of the USSR, providing links with neighboring regions of China.
"Regular sabotage and provocations were organized against the railway with the direct participation of the Japanese. The recently released Russian-Chinese feature film "Red Silk" clearly shows how everything happened," she said.
The official representative of the department stressed that information can also be obtained from the published memoirs of foreign intelligence officers who worked closely with the Japanese in Harbin at that time.
Earlier, on March 10, it was reported that the box office receipts of the film "Red Silk" broke records, exceeding 500 million rubles.
The main location of the film is the Trans-Siberian express, which carries secret documents of particular importance for Russian-Chinese relations across Russia. Foreign intelligence agents and thugs disguised as ordinary passengers are trying to take them over. A young Red Army soldier and a former tsarist agent will have to figure out the enemy.
Actors Milos Bikovic, Gosha Kutsenko, Elena Podkaminskaya, Irina Alferova, Gleb Kalyuzhny, as well as Chinese actress Zheng Hanyi took part in the film.
