A case was opened in Kurgan against a local resident for calling for terrorism

Employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Kurgan region detained a 64-year-old resident of the regional center, who wrote over 24,000 comments calling for terrorism on messengers and social networks. This was announced on March 20 by the press service of the regional department of the department.
According to the service, the woman's publications were devoted to a special operation in Ukraine. It is indicated that she supports Ukrainian nationalist movements. A criminal case has been opened.
The department noted that the Kurgan resident is charged under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code. The maximum penalty under this article is up to seven years in prison.
According to RIA Novosti, the woman is currently on her own recognizance.
Earlier, on March 5, a local resident was detained in Yekaterinburg, who called for setting fire to ATMs and throwing Molotov cocktails at military units. He was also a fan of the Ukrainian terrorist organizations banned in Russia.
