The German Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party is thinking of resuming Russian gas supplies. This was stated by the chairman of the European Parliament's Subcommittee on Security and Defense, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmerman, in an interview with the Welt television channel, published on the publication's YouTube channel.

"I know that the CDU is already looking towards Russia, namely, to supply Russian gas again in the long term," the MP noted.
