Tesla was kicked out of the automobile show in Canada

The organizers of the Vancouver International Auto Show in Canada excluded Tesla from the list of participants, although the brand's electric cars were already in the showroom. According to the Vancouver Sun, the organizers of the motor show explained the failure with safety requirements.
Eric Nicholl, executive director of the car dealership, stressed that the automaker "was given several opportunities to voluntarily withdraw from participation."
The main concern of the Vancouver Auto Show is the safety of visitors, exhibitors and staff, the organizers of the exhibition said amid protests against Tesla in Canada, North America and Europe in response to the policies of the administration of US President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk as head of the Department of Public Efficiency (DOGE).
Earlier, on March 18, Elon Musk commented on the arson attacks on Tesla cars at a service center in Las Vegas, calling it "terrorism." Prior to that, it became known that Elon Musk's fortune had decreased by $110.8 billion since December last year amid a decline in Tesla's shares in the production of electric vehicles.
According to Forbes, the company is suffering losses due to the imposition of duties by the United States of 25% against Mexico, Canada and China. It is noted that China was the second largest market for electric vehicles. The company also used the import of spare parts from Canada.
On February 1, Trump signed a decree imposing trade tariffs of 25% on goods from Canada, China and Mexico. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called the introduction of US duties the beginning of a trade war against the country.
