The court rejected the appeal of Philip Kirkorov on the claim of Uspenskaya

The Moscow City Court rejected the appeal of singer Philip Kirkorov on the claim of his colleague Lyubov Uspenskaya for the protection of honor and dignity. This was announced on March 20 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.
"The controversial material was posted for a short time and was deleted," Kirkorov's representative said. However, the arguments did not convince the court, and the appeal was not accepted.
It is also noted that the artist's side was unable to provide evidence of the claim in the Tagansky court.
On September 23, the Tagansky District Court ordered the artist to pay Uspenskaya 90 thousand rubles. The reason for filing the lawsuit was Kirkorov's statements to the singer: "She begged me for clothes, gifts. The beggar."
Earlier, on July 22, the Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow recovered more than 280 thousand rubles from Uspenskaya in favor of Kirkorov and ordered him to refute defamatory information about the artist. The lawsuit was filed in December 2023 after an interview with the Uspenskaya blogger Alyona Zhigalova, where the singer called Kirkorov a misogynist. The singer's lawyer said it was a reminder of responsibility for words.
