Moscow Directorate of Mass Events opens 20th location for outdoor exhibitions

The Moscow Directorate of Mass Events has added a new location to the map of outdoor photo exhibitions – the Moscow Metro Square in Sokolniki. The first exhibition on the new stands will appear with
April 20, 2025.

This is the first outdoor exhibition area of the Moscow Directorate of Mass Events in the Eastern District. Exhibitions in the Moscow Metro Square will become a new cultural attraction in the Sokolniki district and will allow Muscovites and guests of the capital to become viewers of unique cultural expositions throughout the year. It is planned that the attendance of exhibitions in the park will reach 50,000 people per month. The exhibition surfaces are illuminated and will operate around the clock, and their expositions will be updated regularly.

For 11 years, open-air exhibitions have been a popular format for cultural institutions, sports communities, artists, photographers, scientists, and anyone who wants to share their work with a wide audience. The new site will make cultural life easier

The Moscow Metro Square is located next to the Sokolniki metro station, between Sokolnicheskaya Square and Sokolnicheskaya Zastava Square. It was recently opened, the linden alley was restored here, the square was paved with red bricks, and recreation areas were equipped.

The stories will be complemented by colorful works by artist Sergei Gavrilov, which jokingly illustrate how Moscow words and phrases were born. Previously, the photo exhibition "Moscow words and Little Words" was exhibited on the central boulevards of the capital.
