Almost all graduates of the capital's colleges find work in their specialty, said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

"After all, over 75% of vacancies in Moscow are aimed specifically at specialists with secondary vocational education," the mayor noted.

According to him, in 2024, about 26 thousand ninth-graders became college students. Given the increased interest, it was decided to increase the number of budget places.

Sobyanin added that in the coming years, more than 2,000 laboratories and workshops are planned to be retrofitted or rebuilt at colleges.

In addition, flagship practical training centers are being created in the city. One of them is located in the Rudnevo Industrial Park.

"The plans include the construction of seven innovative educational campuses," Sobyanin added.
