Roskomnadzor explained the inactivity of some Russian services

The inactivity of some Russian services is related to the use of a foreign server infrastructure, on which failures are recorded, Roskomnadzor (RCN) told Izvestia on March 20.

"We recommend that domestic organizations use the capacities of Russian hosting providers," they added.

In addition, the service clarified that the Public Communications Network Monitoring and Management Center will conduct scheduled technical inspections of the use of foreign server infrastructure by Russian services and telecom operators in the coming month. This is necessary in order to develop measures to improve the stability and security of services as part of the task of ensuring network sovereignty.
