- A captured militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about threats from the company commander

Ivan Stashuk, a captured serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), said that the company commander threatened to be shot for refusing to go to the positions. Footage of a conversation with a Ukrainian fighter on March 20 appeared at the disposal of Izvestia.
According to Stashuk, he was forcibly mobilized, landing the car of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office), under the pretext of updating data.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier noted that he had been trained for 35 days, but it did not help him in any way, after which he was sent to the front line. Stashuk served in the 117th brigade. The soldier had no desire to go to war, but the leadership of the AFU unit was not interested in this.
"The company commander with the call sign "Dad" threatened me and the lad that if we did not go to the positions, we would be imprisoned for 15 years or shot. <...> We had a case where seven servicemen refused to go to the positions, I don't know what happened to them next," Stashuk said.
Servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (RF Armed Forces) took Stashuk along with a colleague while trying to take up positions.
Earlier, on March 19, Yevgeny, a militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who was captured in the Kursk region, told how he underwent military training in the UK. According to him, basic military training is conducted in England, for example, possession of weapons or driving military equipment.
