Ice crossing was closed in Khabarovsk Territory due to warming

Since March 20, the ice crossing on the Amursk—Voskresenskoye route across the Amur River has been closed in the Khabarovsk Territory. The relevant decision was made in the Ministry of Emergency Situations in connection with the increase in air temperature and melting ice.
According to the AmurMedia news agency, the road was in demand among local residents. Citizens are reminded that there is a fine for unauthorized access to the ice.
Despite the fact that the ice is getting thinner in the central and southern regions of the Khabarovsk Territory, another crossing has opened in the north of the region, connecting the villages of Bogorodskoye and Ukhta. Its load capacity is 5 tons.
In the Primorsky Territory, in mid-February, a car fell through the ice of the Amur Bay. There were two people in the cabin, they died.
