In the city of Minusinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, where an earthen embankment ruptured, the water level in the overflowing Minusinka River decreased by 180 cm and reached minimum values. This was announced on March 20 by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

According to the ministry, the spring flood is actively developing in 11 regions of the country. Currently, 63 residential buildings, 93 suburban and 363 household plots, as well as 54 low-water bridges and 35 highways remain flooded.

"During the day, 74 residential and 80 country houses were freed from water in three settlements," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the most difficult situation is observed in the Chelyabinsk Region, Bashkortostan and the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Specialists organize boat crossings and ensure the delivery of food and basic necessities.

At the moment, two household plots remain flooded in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. 261 employees and 63 pieces of equipment were involved in flood relief.

On March 19, the prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported that 22 people had been evacuated from Minusinsk. Dmitry Merkulov, the mayor of the city, said that two bridges were blocked due to the flow of water after the dam burst.
