The fact of theft of minerals for 20 million rubles was revealed in Krasnoyarsk

In the Yemelyanovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs revealed the theft of a sand-gravel mixture with a total value of more than 20 million rubles. This was announced on March 20 by the Interior Ministry of the region.

According to the investigation, in 2024, the director of one of the Krasnoyarsk companies illegally attracted contractors to excavate a plot of land in the area of CHP-3. It is specified that the property belonged to a third-party organization and was located in a water protection zone, where there is a ban on the extraction of natural resources.

"The attacker illegally extracted more than 40 thousand cubic meters of sand and gravel mixture with a total value of over 20 million rubles. The suspect sold minerals, and used the funds he received to purchase special equipment," the department's Telegram channel reported.

A criminal case was opened against the director of the company under Part 4 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Theft"). He faces up to 10 years in prison. At the moment, the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being resolved.

Investigative and operational actions are carried out at the place of residence and work of the person involved in the case.

Earlier, on March 12. In Krasnoyarsk, five people were detained who registered fictitious companies with front persons and cashed out more than 250 million rubles through them. According to the investigation, the detainees have been carrying out illegal activities for the withdrawal of non-cash funds into cash circulation since 2022.
