Russians told about the inability to buy an apartment

The majority of Russians — 75% — cannot afford to buy an apartment. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the construction company Level Group, which I reviewed on March 20. "Газета.Ru ".

At the same time, according to the study, 10% of Russians intend to purchase an apartment in the future.

Families with three or more children also told at what level of earnings they would decide on a mortgage at 6%. So, 40% of respondents said that a family budget of 150,000 to 300,000 rubles per month is needed for this. 36% of Russians named the amount from 300 thousand to half a million rubles per month. And a quarter of families indicated that they are not ready to take such a step if their family income does not amount to half a million to a million rubles a month.

The head of the mortgage department at Level Group, Julian Ovechkin, in turn, clarified that in order to receive approval from the bank for a mortgage loan, the minimum family income must be equal to twice the monthly mortgage payment.

More than 1.3 thousand Russians took part in this survey.
