The Yemeni Houthis announced a missile and drone strike on an American aircraft carrier.

The Yemeni Ansar Allah movement has attacked the USS Harry Truman aircraft carrier group in the Red Sea. This was announced on March 20 by the representative of the Houthis Yahya Saria.

"The Yemeni armed forces have intensified attacks on the enemy in the Red Sea, including the American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and its associated warships. The operation was carried out by missile forces, naval forces and air forces," he said on Al Masirah TV channel.

Saria clarified that the ships were attacked using drones, as well as ballistic and cruise missiles. Also, according to him, "the operation has successfully achieved its goal."
