Musk congratulated Durov on having 1 billion monthly users on Telegram

American billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk congratulated Pavel Durov on the fact that the number of active users of the Telegram messenger he developed exceeded 1 billion users per month.

"Congratulations!" Musk wrote on his social network X.

This was a response to Durov's message, in which he shared with subscribers the achievement of Telegram.

On March 12, Durov reported that every month the Telegram moderator team deleted about 1 million channels and groups, as well as more than 10 million users who violated the user agreement. According to him, the public did not know about most of the work of the Telegram team, so the media often relied on outdated information from the company's website, which had not been updated for about 10 years.
