Crews of T-80 tanks inflicted fire damage on the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the South Donets direction

Crews of T-80 tanks of the 40th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet of the Vostok group of forces inflicted fire damage on the strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the South Donets direction. This was announced on March 20 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to aerial reconnaissance data, the gunners-operators destroyed the strongholds of the Ukrainian formations with precise hits, which prevented the advance of the assault units.

"The crew is like a family, first of all, which you can rely on, fully trust and directly when something goes wrong in the tank, that is, you trust not just a person, but you trust his eyes and vision. At the same time, you follow all his commands: they tell you where to aim, they tell you what to do. And you do it directly, without thinking about it, because you trust your comrade," said the gunner-operator of the tank under the call sign Red.

"Our fighters have their own home behind them, literally."

On March 17, the crew of the T-80BVM tank of the 1st Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Slavic Order of the Republic brigade of the 51st Guards Combined Arms Army of the Center group of forces destroyed the AFU stronghold in the Red Army special operation area. The Ministry of Defense clarified that the shooting was conducted along a mounted trajectory with constant fire correction by drone operators conducting aerial reconnaissance in the target area.
