The court granted the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office and recovered more than 4.1 billion rubles from former officials who headed the Kursk Development Corporation in favor of the Russian Federation. This was announced on March 19 by the joint press service of the judicial system of the region in the Telegram channel.

"The Leninsky District Court of the city of Kursk has satisfied the claim of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office against Vladimir Lukin, Igor Grabin, Snezhana Martianova and others, as well as organizations, for the recovery of over 4.1 billion rubles," the statement said.

The total amount converted into state revenue amounted to 4,101,653,592 rubles. In addition, the state duty in the amount of 900 thousand rubles was also collected from these persons. It is reported that the court's decision was applied for immediate execution.

The prosecutor's office filed a demand to recover from Lukin and other accomplices in the case at the end of January. Officials of the Kursk Development Corporation were accused of embezzling budget money that was allocated for the construction of fortifications on the border with Ukraine.
