The White House accused the Biden administration of killing 8 million chickens.

On March 19, White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt accused the administration of former US President Joe Biden of killing almost 8 million chickens across the country before his departure.

"Look at this! The Biden administration killed almost 8 million chickens before the inauguration of President Donald Trump Trump, which led to a reduction in supplies and rising prices," she wrote on the X network (ex. Twitter).

Levitt also informed that the current White House administration, together with the country's Minister of Agriculture, Brooke Rollins, is currently working to solve this problem.

CNN reported on January 14 that U.S. citizens were faced with a shortage of eggs due to avian flu. It was specified that the restoration of stability in the food market in the country may take from six to nine months. In addition, the shortage has led to higher prices for eggs. On February 7, it became known that amid the shortage, stores in the United States imposed restrictions on the purchase of eggs.
