- The head of the Ministry of Energy did not see any problems in transferring Ukraine's nuclear power plant to the United States

The head of the US Department of Energy, Chris Wright, said that he sees no problem in transferring the nuclear power plant (NPP) of Ukraine under the leadership of the United States. He made the corresponding statement on March 18 in an interview with Fox News channel.
"No problem, we can do this," Lucas Tomlinson, a correspondent for the TV channel, reports him on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
According to Wright, if the transfer of Ukrainian nuclear power plants under the control of the United States would help resolve the conflict, then the United States would do it "without any problems."
Earlier, on March 18, Alexey Likhachev, CEO of the Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, said that nuclear safety is among Russia's priorities in resolving the conflict in Ukraine. He added that the Zaporizhia NPP and the Kursk power plant are in the area of special attention. According to him, the issue of settlement must comply with all conditions for the safety of the Russian Federation's nuclear facilities.
