A new wave of anti-government protests has taken place in the capital of Argentina.

In Buenos Aires, a new wave of anti-government protest is taking place on the square in front of the Argentine Congress building. This was announced on Wednesday, March 19, according to the Buenos Aires Times.
Columns of protesters continue to march towards the congress under the flags of various political and social movements. The action was a response to the brutal police suppression of a protest by pensioners a week ago.
The demonstrations were organized by the CGT Federation of Trade Unions. Police officers and cars with water cannons are deployed to the square. So far, the action is going smoothly.
Earlier, on March 13, a protest rally was held in Buenos Aires, organized by pensioners who opposed amendments to pension legislation. Soon they were joined by football fans and passersby. Police used rubber bullets, water cannons and tear gas grenades. At least 56 people were injured.
